Confrontational Generosity

This week begins an exciting new sermon series entitled: Church Now / Church Next. Throughout this series we are asking the questions, “Where is the Spirit at work now, and where might the Spirit be inviting us into the future?” We will be hearing from voices within our church, our city, and globally as they share powerful and prophetic stories of God’s work in our world and the invitation to join with God there.

Pastor William Lamar IV is the senior pastor at the historic Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, where he seeks daily to extend Metropolitan’s nearly two centuries-long legacy of bearing witness to the reign of the living God.
