Jesus is King

“Jesus does not operate in kingdom power that oppresses or crushes, he does not wield the kind of power that demands fear, but as king, he operates in invitational, healing, liberating, resurrecting power. The kind of power that, as I reminded by a friend this week, turns weapons into plowshares, that takes instruments meant for harm and turns them into instruments that cultivate life. And he invites us to walk in that power, too.”

Pastor Andrea preaches on Mark 15:1-5 on Palm Sunday (or Passion Sunday) as we hold the tension of grief and celebration leading up to Easter.
