Rachel Choate

Rachel Choate (she/her) grew up as a pastor's kid moving all over the Midwest - Chicago, Indiana, Flint, Detroit, and Cincinnati. She has lived in the DC area for the past 20 years and loves learning about the history and culture of this amazing city and will happily take anyone on a tour of the boundary stones. She works in emergency management serving the residents of the District.
Rachel started attending Christ City in 2018 after trying to convince a friend that she should go there. At Christ City, she has found strong community, encouragement, and support. She now lives in Capitol Heights, Maryland with her mom, housemate, and adorable dog, Adalia. Rachel loves to read whether in her library, on her front porch, or at a beautiful DC spot.
