Andrea Ackermann
Pastor of Community Life
Andrea (she/her) serves as the Pastor of Community Life, where she is excited to create opportunities for community to happen at Christ City, in addition to being part of the preaching team, worship team, and overseeing operations. She is passionate about making spaces for others to thrive, especially women and people of color.
Andrea grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland as a Korean American adoptee and pastor’s kid who loved being at church every day of the week. She received her Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2021, and has been working with Christ City since 2015.
Andrea lives in Trinidad with her husband of 17 years, Drew, their two daughters, Jolie and Rowen, and the best little dog, Lucy.
